Have you guys heard? I’ve launched a podcast!! And to celebrate, there were 25+ launch parties all over the country that brought SC Sisters together so they could listen and discuss why being authentic to yourself, knowing your values, and what you stand for is so critical to being FEARLESS.
I attended three launch parties in Raleigh, Charlotte, and Boston. Today I’m going to be sharing the BTS of the Becoming Fearless SC Launch Party in Boston that I attended. Lindsay of Paris, Meet Boston is a blogger, French teacher, and organized the party location at La Voile in Boston. Gretchen of Living Life Pretty is a blogger, stay at home Mom, and made all of the beautiful floral arrangements!
I have been to Newbury Street many times, but have never been to La Voile! The event started with complimentary Kir Royale champagne aperitifs for an hour of chatting and mingling. It was lovely to have some time to chat with everyone one on one before the sit-down event began!
After that, we passed delicious French hors-d’oeuvres around the table, and our wine glasses were magically full all the time. 😉 We went around the table and introduced ourselves, shared what our blogs are about and what our goals are. I also hopped onto Instagram Live to document the experience. Next, we listened to the podcast together, which I have to admit was a little embarrassing and awkward to hear to myself speak! But afterward, we all had a discussion around work bullies, generational differences, and what it means to be your authentic self. I loved it because these are all topics near and dear to my heart! Lindsay surprised us with Style Collective branded macaroons, gorgeous gift bags filled with goodies and one of my favorite books, The Woman I Wanted to Be by DvF. I wrote a post inspired by that book here. The décor, food, and company were more than perfect, and I am so honored that such a special event was put together for the podcast launch.
Thank you, Lindsay and Gretchen for organizing the Boston party, Jessie for coordinating all of the parties across the country, my SC Sisters in Boston for attending, James Salusky for the gorgeous photos, and La Voile for sponsoring the venue, drinks, and delicious food. I cannot wait to go back this summer with my husband! Enjoy the photos below and don’t forget to listen to the podcast!
