NYFW Day 4: Going Out With A Bang

NYFW Day 4: Going Out With A Bang

Hi Lovelies! Today marks the final day of my NYFW recap with my Style Collective sisters, which kind of makes me sad! I love that I’ve been able to share this amazing week with my friends, family and other SC sisters. Stay tuned for next week’s post on SC recapping our fabulous brunch with 30+ ladies!

On to the Final Day of NYFW:

Monday was a crazy day. Anna and I ventured to Bagel Maven for some fabulous NYC bagels. So much yum!! Then we headed to Charming Charlie’s flagship store for a little business meeting and were surprised with a shopping spree! It felt amazing to be treated to some shopping by our PR contact at CC. I can’t wait to show you the outfits that I picked out for fall – all pieces that are under $35 each and look fabulous.

After CC, we walked to the Louis Verdad presentation, which was very European inspired. A lot of navy, pleating, lace and sequins; very chic and totally wearable. After Louis Verdad, Anna and I parted ways (until next time!) and I headed to Rachel Zoe to meet up with my LA girlfriend, Amy! Amy is such a #girlboss because like me, she also has her own business in the fashion industry. She pitched her fashion app on Shark Tank earlier this year which is just, well, girl boss #GOALS. Amy and I browsed the Rachel Zoe Spring ’17 line together and chatted it up. We were also gifted an absolutely stunning silk, off the shoulder blouse from the upcoming line. I die. I can’t wait to style it.

Amy and I then roamed around NY and she came with me to meet up with some of the girls for drinks before our next event. We chilled for about an hour, caught up on our days, drank some cocktails and then headed to our final event. RewardStyle held a party at Milk Studios. It was essentially a large open space with a DJ and open bar. They also had some mini-makeover action going on with the Milk beauty products. I wasn’t too impressed with the party, especially after the amazing time we all had at Lulus and ShopStyle, but we all made the most of it and met a lot of bigger bloggers and celebrities which was cool!

So now it is back to reality. I had a total blast at NYFW meeting 30+ of my Style Collective sisters, networking with brands and other bloggers. I think we are going to aim for attending Fashion Week again this February – if you are a blogger or thinking about blogging, you need to join Style Collective! Until next week. xo Annie
